Since I was visiting my daughter for Thanksgiving I called ahead to ensure I would not have a problem because we travel with 2 large dogs. I was told it would not be a problem. When I checked in they told me only one dog was allowed and had to be under 40 pounds. They refused to budge so I left to find another place to stay on the Sunday night before Thanksgiving. My wife, however wanted to try again and as she was talking to the desk clerk someone left a room with two dogs and one of them was large. So they decided to let us stay. The room was not clean. The rug on the floor had 2 large holes in it and crumbs from someone's food. We didn't have to look far or long. We found the Candlewood Suites in McDonough took us the next day and allowed us to check in early. (see my review of the Candlewood for more info).

There were roaches. The room smelled like mold and my family and I constantly was hearing noises on the floor above us the whole time during our stay felt like the ceiling was going to cave in. Did I say the noise continued even in the middle of the night making it hard to stay sleep. I want to believe it sounded like someone was tussling bc it definitely sounded like furniture being moved and I could hear arguing. Very much ghetto I wouldn’t recommend staying there unless you like killing roaches and dealing with noises throughout the day/night. It definitely need to be renovated. Too much money spent for you to have to pay for laundry usage as well. Housekeeping does not come during your stay just after when you’re checking out which is ridiculous.

We were in town for a funeral. We were exhausted mentally and physically. I want to give a shout out to Willie at the front desk. He was so accommodating, he gave us coffee maker & ice when we came in for our drinks. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Also the ladies in the morning were pleasant😊
