Description: In the South, we are kept up at night remembering our grandmother's fried chicken, our mother's biscuits and gravy, the taste of a peach fresh off the tree in July and the smell of boiled peanuts as we pass by a roadside stand after a day of fishing with our grandfather. We crave and dream about our food, attaching it to memories of childhood, friends and family. We are taught a great meal is not about the food and drink we consume, it is an emotional experience bonding us to it forever. The Mill Southern Kitchen and Bar, the quintessential Southern neighborhood restaurant, is a down-to-earth spot, where the casual vibe is heightened by the mouth-watering cuisine, the culinary inspired cocktails, the large selection of craft beers and the thoughtfully selected wine list. Whether a guest prefers the well-appointed dining room, the comfortable bar or the sizeable patio complete with a fireplace, it is a gathering spot for those who want to conjure up their favorite memories or create.

What impresses you the most about this restaurant is the layout, the decor, the open feeling and the patio. I was here for a family event so it was a group of about 25 people. They have a very nice room that you can reserve that could have easily held a larger group. The food was light finger food but all were prepared very well. I thought their salmon and crab cakes were really tasty. Good beer selection and great bourbon list. There was more than ample help to take drink orders and the tab for the 2 hours event was more than reasonable. We will definitely give this place a try with a smaller group.

Nice atmosphere, good food, good staff. Go!
Four of us met to catch up and were greeted by friendly host staff. Following, we were pleased with an overall attentive, fun, and friendly waitress.
We each had different dishes (fish, duck, beef short rib, scallops) and shared the sampler appetizer platter (PLENTY for 4...and worth it).
All dishes had good flavor. Only the duck was a disappointment. The flavor was spot-on, but the skin was a bit soggy and not crispy. It's a new add, so maybe they've not perfected it.
Waitress was uber friendly and fun. My only complaint was we had to search for her at the end, but she did have another table clear across the restaurant.
I'll go back and looking forward to checking out their deck and their brunch!

I had lunch here with some friends. Service was wonderful and the fried chicken sandwich was wonderful! There is a large outdoor patio area that is quite nice. There is a wrap around bar inside and many tables for seating. Plenty of parking.

There were 7 of us. For what we had very pricey. The lobster ravioli, was excellent.
We ordered a burger, and it was RAW not even Rare, not medium rare as requested.
The Shrimp and Grits, had little flavor and the sausage was Awful, cubed cheap, tasted like lots of preservatives, the Shrimp were Good sized, but overall, would not recommend the dish. PS: this is a dish we order often in many places.Salmon was Delicious. Martinis were excellent but took over 20 minutes to get our bar order, appetizer was all gone by the time we received them and the bar was Not busy. Very Nice Atmosphere. We will not be returning. But check it out your food might be better.

Definitely sample the Shrimp and Grits....you won't be disappointed!!

Take the time to meet someone for lunch here. It has a quaint Southern charm with a good touch of class.

Nice contemporary facade and friendly staff make this a place you want to eat and enjoy some wine with friends.

Farm to table style restaurant. Dessert is great too!
