Review of Empanadas & More

Empanadas & More
Ranked #1 of 269 Restaurants in Valdosta
Certificate of Excellence
Description: We are a your typical family owned restaurant in Valdosta, GA. We are first-generation immigrants with two daughters who were born in the USA. For over 13 years we have dedicated ourselves to cooking food from multiple ethnicity origins. We have found a way to express our sensitivity and love we have for human beings and nature through our food. In our long journey interacting with multiple gastronomic cultures we have found that all countries cuisines have rich qualities that deserve to be exposed and known to the American people. In this cultural adventure, cooking multi-ethnic food, we want to keep the fundamentals of each recipe but put a special emphasis on the nutritional aspects of it. We use only the best and most natural ingredients. Our concept can fits into a casual style restaurant, where we put important touches in the use of technology as a tool to carry out our marketing strategy. We believe today, more than ever, we are living in a world without borders, a world where it is incredibly easy to penetrate other cultures and meet other lifestyles ways of feeding humans. It is there, where our culinary proposal comes together making a reality this enriching experience of knowing the world.

If you’re in Valdosta, make a point to visit this restaurant! The owner was very helpful in explaining what everything was, giving tips on how to order food best. Try the traditional empanadas & the yuca. They were GREAT!

Today on a super busy Saturday we were sitting at our table waiting for our food. As always the line was to the door. We waited and just as it was our turn to order a table opened up. We ordered and sat at our table and again the line formed to the door. A couple placed their order and stood by the door close to our table. No tables looked to be opening soon, so Alberto asked us if we minded sharing our table with the out of town couple on their first visit to Valdosta. We said, of course and the most delightful couple joined us and they had literally just arrived in Valdosta and headed straight to the number 1 Valdosta restaurant on Trip Advisor. They were scouting out the town in case they relocate here. We had the most lovely conversation. Food was, as always delicious!!!!

We had the empanadas and the Cuban sandwich. The Cuban was really good and the empanadas were good but needed a little more flavor. The gentleman behind the counter explained everything on the menu and made suggestions. Very friendly and helpful

First time there, gentleman at counter explained the options and made recommendations. Everything was delicious .. a simple pot roast with vegatables that I couldn't stop eating, and empanadas were flaky and perfect.
