We stopped to check in with Customs, refuel and take advantage of the facilities and a little time off the sail boat! Felix, the dock master, was so nice and welcoming. We really appreciated his friendliness and sharing information about the island. It was great to have a customs official on site so we could get checked in after our sail from US. It was off season, so it was like we had the island to ourselves. There is a nice little store where you can buy groceries from a limited selection. Prices are high on some items but on some, they are pretty reasonable. I bought a great hat with sun shield in the back with the Spanish Cay logo for $30. We didn't need the restaurant so I can't rate that. There is a nice little pool with pool furniture and small thatched roof swings and tables located around the grounds. Kind of reminds me of Gilligan's Island.
We enjoyed an afternoon of walking on the quiet beaches and then did our laundry in the evening. Everyone we met (maintenance, Felix, painter, etc.) was very friendly. I imagine it would be a fun place to visit in the "on" season.
