I've been going to Coeur d' Alene since before the resort was built and have stayed at the hotel multiple times, but this was my first time back in about 10 years. It is still in great shape, and such a beautiful setting.

Normally, we'd stay in the tower, but they were sold out of those rooms. I was a little worried, but we ended up somewhere between the newer and older sections and it was o.k. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were good. I missed having a balcony, but we had a great view of the lake.

They have made some changes that I'm not in love with. First, they moved the pool to the golf course - and you have to take a boat or shuttle to get there. This is rather inconvenient. For one, as soon as the boat pulled away, I remembered 2 things I forgot and I was stuck. Secondly, the pool isn't really great for kids and my pre-teen boys got bored quickly - and I couldn't send them up to the room because it was too far away.

The other is that they made the lounge with the view a bar - and wouldn't allow kids - and where you could have kids, they didn't have table service. It seems like the resort has gone away from families and more towards conferences and adults...

But, other than minor complaints, it's still a great destination.

Room Tip: Choose the tower room, water view if you can.

great facility brimming with activity! people walking in the main lobby or hanging in the sitting areas all day long! room was very clean and well stocked. house keeping was fantastic and all the staff were pleasant. great location and views. many food options on site or just a short walk away on Sherman. only issue i had was my the complimentary breakfast i was supposed to receive with my package. i was not given a voucher when i checked in and i had to make sure that i was not charged for this when i checked out.

There is something to be said about waking up in the morning and overlooking beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private balcony as you watch the boats down below. I have stayed at the resort on many occasions and am always rewarded with an excellent experience. Make sure you get a lake view room. Beverly's is and excellent restaurant if you are looking for a special dining experience. While the service is excellent the overall experience is truly wonderful. Plan to stay a few extra nights if visiting on business and enjoy all that Coeur d'Alene has to offer

Room Tip: Choose a lake view room if possible. The corner room on the 7th floor has an oversized balcony for large gatherings.

We stayed for 3 nights at the resort and we loved every minute of it.
Up on arrival the check went very fast and we got a great room on the 12th floor.
As we had booked 3 restaurant but did not exactly which date what restaurant it got checked very quickly and transportations to have diner at Cedars was arrranged.
We did not realise when we booked Cedars it was that far from the hotel, at least to far to walk but that got solved quickly by transportation desk.

Our evening at Beverly's we will not forget easily, it was on the expensive side but it was definately worth every penny. My tuna and my husband steak were magnificent, so tender.

The transportation to the golf course and pool are a fun short ride by boat.
Lunch at the Golf course is fun to especially as you can watch the players struggle to get reached the floating whole in front of the restaurant.

We would definately recommend the hotel

Room Tip: premier lake view is definately worthwhile

The Coeur d'Alene Resort has spent millions on a complete renovation, which is stunning, and makes this a 'new' resort in every area. Coupled with unmatched service made this an outstanding stay in a Tower room overlooking the lake. All the food and beverage outlets have been re-done as well and the food and service leaves nothing more to desire in way of variety and quality. Beverly's Restaurant, on the 7th floor of the tower, is one of the finest anywhere. Friendly, smiling, helpful staff makes ones stay very memorable. Visiting the new outdoor pool is a treat because it is a complimentary boat ride away at the golf course. This truly a 'total destination resort' with something for everyone an every taste. Our only regret was that our stay was too short!

Room Tip: Tower rooms all have a lake view, but, for the price conscious, the newly renovated city view rooms are a great value.
