Owner description: Excellent cutthroat trout river.

Beautiful country side with a brilliant river...the "JOE". If you like the outdoors and love to fish great place to stay. I am an avid fly fisherman and the JOE has always been one of my favorite places to fish for native cutthroat trout (been fishing here for over 45 years). Clear cool water make this a must for fly fisherman. Smell the great outdoors and come on up!

From the heart of the Bitterroots to Coeur d'Alene, one of the prettiest rivers I've ever seen. Lots of riverside RV spots from Adair to Calder. Looks like good fishing too.

This beautiful river is raging and cold in the spring and early summer, but great for "lazy river" floating during the last two weeks of July and all of August.

Cruise from a dock adjacent to the Coeur d'Alene City Beach on a custom-built boat featuring ample indoor and top deck seating for a hundred + passengers, add a full-service bar and an included lunch and you have a perfect day on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and a stunning river trip. You might be tempted to revisit the upper St. Joe for fine fly and drift boat fishing.

It was a hot day in Spokane and we needed to get away. Traveled down to the St. Joe and it took our breath away. Gorgeous scenery, meandering river views and nice ice cream and a place to get your feet wet in Avery.
