Although it appears they are trying to make improvements to the property, (mainly the cabins) the RV sites are awful. They are gravel, full of grass & weeds and SO close that our awning(s) could not have been extended because they would hit the slideouts of the neighbor. Our only saving grace was that our friends had rented the 5,000 square foot house across the street and we were there the majority of the time anyways. The Resort is located on such a beautiful piece of property right on the lake, it is a shame the RV sites are so bad. Would not stay there again!

Traveling with little kids can be tiresome. We where ready to just check in and go to bed. We arrived latter then expected (11:00pm) and the girl at the front desk was very polite and helpful getting us into our room. We woke up to breathtaking scenery tucked into the mountains. The gentleman running the cafe for breakfast was very personable and very accommodating for picky eaters. The room was very charming with a rustic woodsy feel. Price was high but seemed to be that way at all the places we looked at. overall great stay and will come again

Room tip: We called instead of booking online. They helped us choose a great room

I arrived at 8:30pm to a deserted office and had to walk around the area until dark to find someone who knew how to get a hold of the owner. I felt very unsafe. This place sitting right in the lake could be amazing, instead it is a dump...an eyesore.I suppose for about $60 a night it might be a good man cave to provide shelter while fish the beautiful lake.

Wild Rose is primarily a fishing location. The young man working the place is very friendly and affable. With a backdrop of hills and a beautiful lake it is a nice place to stay away from the hub bub of the near Yellowstone tourist trap hotels. We stayed in Mini 1 which is ideal for one person and cozy for two. It is an experience in Tiny House living. We enjoyed our stay as it was clean, had everything we needed and the whole Tiny House thing was quaint. I think the unit has more outlets than our 1500 sqr. ft. house. I hope the bed upgrades come in soon because the one in Mini 1 is so uncomfortable I purchased a foam camping pad for it.

We came up for Eclipse Weekend and almost got to see totality. We loved it! Beautiful place to take pictures. Sunsets are gorgeous! Definitely worth our time! We simply loved the peace and quiet and everyone around us loved it too! Was such a nice getaway!
