Review of The Tower Grill

The Tower Grill
Ranked #10 of 221 Restaurants in Nampa
Price range: US$5 - US$10
Description: The Tower Grill opened in the Fall of 2016. Located just off runway 29 and 11 at the Nampa Municipal Airport, just feet from the historic WarhawkAir Museum. Our goal is to deliver genuine, family friendly service and atmosphere while highlighting the magic that a small town airport has to offer. Owner Nate Lindskoog has grown up with a rich history of flying in his family; flying with his dad when he was young and growing up around airplanes. The Tower Grill is the result of combining his love for airplanes with over 15 years in the restaurant industry. From his first job delivering Chinese food when he was 16 until today, Nate has developed a deep love for food and more importantly, helping people gain meaningful connections through the experience of sharing a meal together in a comfortable environment. So come split a french press of coffee on the patio overlooking the runway on a Saturday morning, or stop by to take on one of our signature burgers named after WWII airplanes.

Good service and good burgers. Couldn't give them a five. They didn't bring us napkins and one of the burgers wasn't quite done. Great view of the airport from the deck.

I really like the atmosphere, the view of the runway from the large windows or the outside seating area is worth the trip. Food is typical cafe food, nothing exceptional on the menu. Food is good at a fair price.

I had the "172" burger, it was mediocre at best, the beef seemed to be water down tasting and almost white in color. The fries were bits and pieces, I didn't have a single fry that was longer than 2 inches. My plate sat in the window for 7 minutes, even though 3 waitresses were standing behind the counter and the restaurant wasn't busy. Will not be back.

We had not been here for a while so we decided to give it a try. I had bacon and eggs and it was very good. My wife hade the chicken fried steak and it was also very good. We ate outside so we could watch the planes land and take off. Good food and good service we will be back.

Went at noon today Saturday and watched the planes. SO cool. The food was really really tasty. Had fish tacos, tortilla BEEF soup, BLT, grilled cheese, and chicken fried steak with gravy. All very good but the FRIES.... YUM!!! Even great Arnold Palmers
Very pleased. Staff SO friendly. It's a new favorite.
