On our annual trek from the southern Californian desert to our summer home in Montana, we ususally travel the freeways. For a variety of reasons, this year we left I-80 at the junction of Hwy 93 and headed north through Idaho. This led us to a one night stay at 100 Acre Wood Lodge--at the suggestion from one of our friends. We were not only not disappointed, we were elated. The room was spacious and immacuately clean. The dinner meal, which we pre-ordered from a list of 7or 8 itmes was fantastic. One of the best we have had in a long time, and it was modestly priced as well. The local scenery was specatacular as was the talent of our hosts. The breakfast meal was very ample and down to the home made jam was delicious. There was not a single element of our visit that was not perfect. We will recommend a stay at 100 Acre to all our friends and will endeavor to return---but for a longer stay.
