“Too close to railroad-honks every 30 mins even at night”

Nice park however only inconvenience was the train which honked extremely loudly every 15-30 minutes even at nighttime, all night, I would finally get to sleep then woken up again by the train. You also hear the busy 401 traffic so doesn’t seem like your camping. The bathrooms were clean and showers mediocre. The store has different foods/condiments for if you forget, also some shirts/sweaters, campfire wood although the wood we bought was wet and couldn’t even light a fight due to how wet it was. The workers at the front where you pay seem angry and annoyed, did not show us how to get to campsite.

The garbage was overfilled and that's all we could smell the whole weekend!
Site was semi private,
Prob some of the most rude campers I've ever met.
My suggestion is to travel more north and hit the good parks...

We went in july weekend for a day picnic. Very busy but clean part to visit. Nice rocky beach but clean. Very busy so try to go in the morning as limited parking. Washroom was clean and open. Will go again close to toronto.

We used this park for breaking in our tent trailer, since it is very close to our home. The park is fine, but there is not a lot to do if the weather is unco-operative. We went and it was cold and raining, in the summer, so it was not a lot of fun. If you enjoy fishing this is probably a satisfactory park.

We tried to have a picnic at the parks Picnic area 2 on Sunday afternoon.(before 3pm). Then we found a big problem was ALL WASHROOM were locked. There was no public washroom available on Sunday afternoon in the picnic areas. The washroom right beside the picnic area was locked. We drove to the park store, the main office to find one, they were all locked as well. Then we drove all the way back to the park entrance where has a washroom, it was locked too.

Weekends are popular days for the families to visit and use the provincial park, I don't understand what is the plan to lock and close all the washrooms during the weekend days in the day use and picnic areas. You still charge admission permit to enter the park, but you close all the washrooms. That is ridiculous.

On the way trying to find an opened washroom, we met another couple and two ladies who were also trying to find washrooms. Also, there is no close by stores/business for you to use washrooms, outside the park is the nuclear energy site. To find a washroom, you have to leave the park, get back on highway 401 and drove back to the closest city to find a store to use washroom.

Very bad experience. BTW, no staffs onsite to offer any information or help
