Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with us! It is so nice to see that you appreciated our stunning historic property, and we are absolutely thrilled that you were comfortable throughout your stay. Since we feature plenty of room types with enhanced city views, we hope that you reserve one of those the next time you are in Chicago. We sincerely appreciate your review!
Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and had a positive vibe. Feels good when a staff member remembers your name a day or two later. Location is excellent, short walk to river cruise, original Billy goat tavern, and Michigan avenue shopping. Fitness facility well equipped with free weights, machines, and treadmills. R Kelly music video shot in lobby while we were there - added to the great experience we had here.
It is so exciting to see that the staff was very welcoming throughout your stay! We are really happy that everyone made an effort to get to know you and was friendly, helpful and positive. It is also wonderful to see that you enjoyed our newly-renovated fitness center, and we hope you worked up a sweat while using our state-of-the-art Star Trac cardio equipment! We are thrilled that you enjoyed our hotel's location and atmosphere, and we are looking forward to seeing R. Kelly's music video and hope you are, too. Thank you very, very much for your review!
Nice hotel in a great location, reasonable room rates, but the overarching fantastic thing is the friendliness of the staff at every level.
Wow! Thanks so much for your glowing review! It is beyond exciting to see that our friendly staff helped you have such an outstanding experience at our hotel. We are so happy to see that you enjoyed staying in our great location on Michigan Avenue, and it looks like you particularly loved your enhanced view of the city. We appreciate your kind words and hope to see you again soon!
We stayed over spring break on floor 31 with 2 queen beds. The price was only $120 including tax. Simply amazed at how nice the rooms were. Very clean, modern, and appealing to the eye. So many esthetic details such as embroidered guitar on corner of pillows and script like design painted on wall. Plenty of towels provided, not to mention they were nice and large. The hairdryer was a nice one, not the standard built in the wall ones that fry your hair. The toiletries were of high quality and they even provided mouthwash, sewing kit, and a vanity kits with q-tips, nail file, and make up remover pads. The view was fantastic. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, better than my own at home! The sheets and bedding were crisp and clean, I could of never got out of bed! For being in the city it was amazing quiet. There were only 4 rooms located on our floor and we never saw or heard anyone. We did have a situation where a drunk woman had the wrong room and just kept knocking on our door. I simply called front desk and security was up to our room in less than 60 secs which made me feel so safe. I was expecting them to take forever so I was quite suprised and happy they resolved the situation quickly. The location was perfect! Short walk to metro and magnificent mile. Free trolleys can take you to Navy Pier. For the price and all the amenities this hotel provides...would stay there over and over again! Awesome place.
Awesome! It is so exciting to see that our front desk staff provided such amazing service throughout your Spring Break stay. We are absolutely thrilled that you were so comfortable and really appreciated our rock and roll atmosphere, and we are especially pleased to see that our guest rooms really "wowed" you. It is fantastic to know that the staff quickly resolved the disturbance you mentioned and helped you feel safe and secure while staying in the heart of the Windy City. We greatly appreciate your kind words and look forward to seeing you the next time you are in town. Thanks so much for your review!
I really enjoyed my stay at The Hard Rock Hotel. The location is ideal for excursions around the Loop. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a tower suite, with great views of the magnificent mile. Only annoying thing about the hotel was the breakfast, which was both pricy, and slow to arrive. Over and over the staff forgot and screwed up my order; I do not needmy toasts after my omelett was finished. However, there's a starbucks just around the corner, so my advice would be to buy somwthing there to go, and enjoy your breakfast looking at 'the bean' in millennium park..
We are so excited to see that you had such a positive experience at our hotel! It looks like you really enjoyed your upgrade to a Studio Suite in our tower section, and we are thrilled that you loved staying in our convenient location in the heart of Chicago. We wish you had enjoyed your breakfast more, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can improve. We are looking forward to launching a new restaurant soon, and we hope to welcome you to the hotel again so you can check it out. Thank you very much for your review!
I can say i've done alot of travelling and in all the hotels i've stayed in I have never been blown away like i was in this hotel.
We decided to stay in the Hard Rock due to reading other reviews on Trip advisor and because of its central location. What a great decision!! You are no more than a $10 cab ride from anywhere that you need to go, the hotel is AMAZING (especially the "Picks" program, where you can lend a fender guitar, amp and headset for your entire stay and there is a lessons channel that gives you loads tabs and chords of popular rock songs and a short video lesson to go with them) the food is great and I really must mention the staff. Everyone at the hotel from reception to the bar to room service were amazing, in particular i will give a big mention to Sheila Garg the concierge during our stay. I honestly can not praise this wonderful lady enough. She made our stay so enjoyable, on the first day we asked her what she recommended we see, she went through the entire city and missed NOTHING off and wrote it on our map for us, we asked about the famous deep dish pizzas, she recommended her favourite and ordered it in for us, She even got us 2 tickets for the Second City comedy club for it's 100th review, which are like gold dust. All I can really say is if you choose to stay at this hotel not only will you get the best prices for a centrally located hotel, you will get THE BEST concierge and team of staff in the city bar none.
On a side note, the Trolley and Double decker tour bus company (the closest stop to the hardrock is located at Maralyn Monroe, you'll understand when you get here) is the best way to see all the city. They have a great bunch of guides and are very good at what they do you'll be entertained and educated at the same time.
Your review has made our day! We are beyond excited that you had such an outstanding time at our hotel, and it is wonderful to know that our entire staff provided such fantastic service throughout your stay in Chicago. It is absolutely fantastic to see that Sheila went above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one, and it looks like you had an excellent time exploring the city. We sincerely appreciate your comments, and we hope to see you again the next time you visit the States. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us!
