One of our top go-to spots. Consistently great food, friendly, attentive staff, outdoor dining available along with their cozy indoor seating, it feels like you are
in someone's home. Great menu, full bar, quality ingredients. Also great for dinner service when desserts are available. Highly recommend.

Craft, local fare like you're in Portland or something. Great service and the food tasted great too. Nice part of town and worth the price if you want to experience real "homemade" or at least local food. The bar is nice and quiet in the evening and the rentals upstairs are really outstanding. The huge condo on the top two floors is gigantic with incredible view of the skyline!!

The menu is relatively small compared to other restaurants but it is unique and innovative. For example, the pickled vegetables and crispy pork appetizers are definitely unique and worth sampling.

The Chef embraces the farm-to-table concept with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients… and executes it extremely well.

The cocktails were exceptional. I tried two house cocktail recommendations by our waiter and both were very good: ‘Sloe Margarita’ made with Calle 23 reposado tequila, sloe gin, and lime; and the ‘Old Fashioned’ made with ransom whippersnapper whiskey, cherry, and orange peel. I am definitely ordering these the next time I return.

We started our meal with the Spinach Salad and the Smoked White Fish Dip. The chef makes the salad with 7 different ingredients that all complement each other perfectly. The salad was light and flavorful. The white fish dip is prepared with lemon, chives, radish, and served with herb crackers. This dip is addictive and the serving is large enough to share.

For the main meal our table sampled and shared the House Made Fettucine, Scallops, Roasted Salmon, and Crispy Half Chicken. All four dishes were absolutely delicious. It was hard for me to pick a favorite.

Make sure to leave room for dessert… their crème brulee and their cheesecake are the perfect ending to a great meal.

Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, always available, but not intrusive.

I would happily return for the menu, the service, and their house cocktails. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

White Oak offers small plates, large plates, and burgers. We had a Soba Noodle salad that was very tasty. It had sun chokes, shiitakes, and pickled radishes. Our entrees were the roasted salmon and the whole sea bass. The salmon was served with rice cakes in a miso broth. The whole fish was the special. It was served with jasmine rice with fava beans. The fish was topped with an African tomato spice sauce. The whole fish is served intact with head and tail; it may not be everyone's liking but it was totally worth the effort to eat... Quite delicious For desert we had the parsnip cake for desert. The cake was served with sweetened parsnips, butterscotch/coffee sauce and a scoop of vanilla thyme ice cream. The menu is creative and delicious. The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We will return.

Disappointed evening with my family and a couple of our friends. Food and drinks were good, in fact the salmon and gluten-free parsnip cake was very good. But the service, portion sizes and value ($50pp + tip) keep me from recommending this place with so many better restaraunts nearby.
