My wife and I recently visited Chicago for a four night stay over the 4th of July holiday. As we avid Hyatt reward people, we chose the Hyatt Regency. In addition to gaining more points, this Hyatt was an excellent choice. First of all its location is perfect situated in the center of Chicago at Wacker and Michigan Avenue.
-- Our room was suite in the West Tower which was not only large and comfortable but had a great view of the Wrigley Building and the Chicago river. I mention the West Tower because the hotel is really two hotels . The West Tower has its own concierge and the overall service is much better than in the larger East area.
-- Location is really in Chicago because depending on where you are situated, you can walk to many of the attractions. The Hyatt Regency is located so centrally that you can walk to Millennium Par, up Michigan Avenue on the Magnificent Mile and west on the River walks on or below Wacker. Not to mention State Street to Marshall Fields ( I will never call it Macy's) or going the other way across the river to Rush street and over to thee excitement of Ontario.
--The club level is excellent and open at many times during the day and evening offering complimentary breakfast ,snacks and a late afternoon appetizers.More
