“Interesting, quirky bar with Polish food”

From the outside, it certainly looks like a log cabin. There is plenty of parking available. When you enter, you'll find yourself in a neighborhood corner bar with a large bar, a pool table and seating for about 20. It is definitely a local Polish bar, as Polish is spoken by many of the patrons. The walls are filled with everything, almost like if you were in a quirky antique store.. You order at the bar and the menu is not big. Interestingly, besides some typical bar sandwiches, they have a couple of Polish dishes. We ordered meat pierogis and we also ordered a bowl of hunter's stew. For Polish food, both were quite good and actually pretty reasonably priced. If it is nice weather, have a seat outside on the patio, and even sit near the koi pond, where there are a couple of huge koi.

If you're looking for a friendly "corner bar" to hunker down in and relax--or meet friends--or play a game of pool--this is the place. There's a room behind the main area for parties, for additional space. In spite of the quaint appearance, the jukebox is a modern Internet-connected device capable of finding whatever tunes suit your mood, plus a wall of televisions for sports, news, or movies. The small(-ish) menu serves the standard hamburger/hot dogs plus a few polish favorites. On occasion they've even prepared fish freshly caught by the owner or served other complimentary items in a very small buffet located off to one side of the bar giving the bar a comfortable family-like atmosphere.

Sometimes, some days, you just get exactly what you need. This place was one of those days. A wonderful slice of European heaven in the middle of urbania.
Real Polish food and beer, a small but excellent menu, a full bar for those of us who don't drink beer and a biergarten (sorry, I am of German heritage and don't know the Polish translation) that takes you away from it all.
Really lovely people and a good time. I will definitely go back. My thanks to all
