Clean, great service, great location

This motel is a gem in the Elizabeth area! Andy and Joyce are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The back of the motel has a lovely view of the hills and a comfy hammock. The bed in the Essex room was very comfy with plenty of pillows! We will definitely be back again. Also - the motel is very biker friendly!

OVERALL A NICE PLACE TO STAY!!

This small motel run by Andy and Joyce....two really nice people... offers, with the exception of breakfast, everything larger chain motels do EXCEPT the price. Clean and comfortable...a little noisy at night as it is on route 20 and trucks come by once in a while (didn't bother me). happy trails

Room tip: room 3 is probably quietest

Great place to stay

This motel is a true gem. The owners are wonderful people. The room was spotless and cozy. Everything you need for a comfortable night stay at a great price. If you are in the area I recommend this motel.

HS Reunion Trip

Wanted a place to stay close to Hanover, IL and this is the closest. Hotel is just outside of Elizabeth Il. Very clean rooms and even though it is on the highway it was quiet. Great view from the back of the hotel. Andy was a good host and is very talkative. Would stay here again if in the area.

Halloween weekend

The location of the View Motel was great. The owners were wonderful at check in and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and inviting and bright. Even though we stayed in October I like how they had the outdoor seating for the summer months to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.
