“Lovely, relaxing and spotlessly clean”
Reviewed June 21, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We were very impressed with Lewisia Lodge, what a little gem on the east coast! The weather was awful the week we stayed, but returning to the lodge after a busy day out was always welcoming. The welcome basket left by our hosts was a lovely touch which was much appreciated after a long journey. The lodge was compact and suited our needs with everything you could possibly need, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great shower and bath for my little one. The park is nice and quiet away from all the hustle and bustle, the onsite bar was a nice place to go, we didn't eat there but the food looked good. The pool area was clean and the water lovely and warm. The location is great for exploring near or far. We usually love Gorlston but the weather let us down this year so had to explore. We would highly recommend Lewisia Lodge and we'll be looking to return next year

“Great base”
Reviewed June 3, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Stayed for a week in May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lewisia Lodge spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs. Never visited the area before and managed to see a lot ,Southwold, Horsey Mere,Beccles and the fabulous Minsmere to mention a few. The weather was kind to us also as we didn't see much rain !
There is a swimming pool on site which is a bonus if there are wet days.

The local pub does takeaways and next door to the pub is a Chinese takeaway , both are good.

Overall the holiday was excellent .

“Perfect Base for exploring the Broads”
Reviewed May 4, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed here for a weekend getaway to relax. The Lodge is spotlessly clean and the site is well maintained. We took a half hour drive to Wroxham and took a boat out down the Broads alternatively you have Oulton Broads, Lowesoft and Yarmouth a 10 minute drive away. Overall you can't beat the Lodge for exploring the Yarmouth area and there is also a good pub right opposite that serves some very good ales !! The welcome chocolate biscuits were very well received aswell after a couple of hours drive
Thank you

“Great family holiday”
Reviewed April 1, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We have had a wonderful holiday at lewisia lodge. Ken and Sue were welcoming and kindly left some chocolates for easter for us.
Lewisia lodge is perfectly located for pleasurewood hills theme park which is just an 8 minutes drive away. Its also less than 20 minutes drive to Lowestoft or great yarmouth with both offering lots to do.
On site there is the most amazing swimming pool that can only be compared to a bath! There is also a restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff.
The chalet itself is well equipped with everything you could possibly need including a selection of dvd's and decks of cards. It's warm and cosy and we all slept well in the comfortable beds. The front decked area is secure and gets plenty of sun throughout the day.
We have already recommended lewisia lodge to friends and plan to stay there again in the future. Many thanks Ken and Sue.

“Perfect and cosy!”
Reviewed March 4, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Myself, my partner and two friends of ours stayed at Lewisia Lodge last weekend and couldn't believe how great the bungalow was. It had everything you could need and think of...including free tea and coffee!

The property was immaculate and extremely well organised. All four of us constantly commented on how great it really was and excellent value for money. I think we had been there 20 minutes before one of us stated we would be back again!

Wouldn't criticise a thing. Its perfect!

“Amazing bungalow”
Reviewed February 25, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We have just returned from a weeks stay in Lewisia Lodge. The bungalow was extremely well equipped to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean and tidy. The park itself had a club house which was very friendly, had excellent food that was reasonably priced and a good selection of drinks. The pool on the park was lovely and a real added bonus. The bungalow is ideally situated to explore the local area which contains something for everyone with some beautiful beaches to walk on in both the Suffolk and Norfolk coasts. The local pubs were again extremely friendly, offered excellent food at reasonable prices and dog friendly. We tried the Chinese takeaway and again found this to be excellent. Lewisia lodge was so warm and cosy with very comfortable beds we didn't want to venture out into the cold!!! Lovely stay, cannot recommend highly enough and hope to return very soon. Thank you Sue and Ken
