“Luxury Living in the Lakes”

Our first visit to the visually stunning scenery that is the Lake District was made complete as we enjoyed the facilities of the outstanding luxurious Blelham Tarn cabin.
Situated near to Ambleside and Lake Windermere in a woodland setting, the managed park boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and a jacuzzi in a central building.
After entering the property gate a path leads you through the rambling garden (great for kids and pets to explore) and onto the decked area suitable for cooking on the provided BBQ or to just sit and breathe in the ambiance of total relaxation.
As you open the door it is instantly recognisable the cabin oozes luxury with TV, DVD’s and player and numerous guide publications in the rustic and tastefully decorated living room.
With an abundance of utensils, cutlery, crockery the kitchen is well equipped and features a Microwave, fridge and as a release from the sink, has a dishwasher. If required there’s even a washing machine in the garden shed.
The super comfortable bedrooms have a double bed in one whilst the other has twin single beds. Also in here, for the gamers there’s an xbox console with games, set up ready to play on the tv in the room.
The thoughtfulness and effort shown by the owners to ensure our stay was pleasurable was evident by the provision of the smallest detail such as the bathroom having complementary shampoo and body wash on tap in the electric shower and welcoming bottle of wine upon our arrival.
This cabin and its hospitality is both a credit to the dedication by the owners and moreover is an asset not to be missed for the holiday industry in this beautiful area.

We stayed for new year , log cabin really nice , everything you could need also has Netflix tv and X box for the kids , garden to the property is really nice and one morning we saw 4 deers running past us. The base is ideal for some really nice walks or fell climbing but also close to Ambleside . Would definitely stay again.

Myself partner, son and family dog have been 4 times now to this idealic log cabin in the heart of forestry in Neumann crag Ambleside. We visited April, May, June and December.

The walks, traditional pubs and close ameneties all cerge in to a holiday we will continue to look forwards to each year.

The cabin has all you could ask and more..
Small heaters in all rooms and main fire effect heater in the lounge area makes it snug in winter months.

The well equipped kitchen has vast choice of pots pans, cutlery, utensils and crockery,
Microwave and fridge with small freezer section.

The comfy beds mixed with the fresh air tend to make early bedtimes an amazing sleep.

This place is a must!

I won a 2 night stay here in a Facebook competition. There is not one thing I could pick fault, everything you could need is here including an Xbox, lots of board games, dishwasher & washing facilities should you need them. Huge decking area and plenty of grounds. Very quiet & relaxed location. Thank you to the owners we will be back

“Fantastic Place to Stay !!”

We had stayed at Blelham Tarn cabin a few times between 10 and 12 years ago and finally got the chance to return again this week ......and it was just as good as we remember it !!

The location is excellent, cabin is not overlooked at all and the facilities inside are marvelous .....the Denby crockery, the double-oven, the dishwasher, the rocking chairs and the BBQ mean it is difficult to tear yourself away and actually go out for a walk (it's just as easy to stay at the cabin and just relax).

We cannot recommend this place enough, it's privately owned and therefore in immaculate condition on the Neaum Crag estate so if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat then this is the place for you.
