We stayed here for just 1 night recently and as soon as we got there, we were sorry we had not a chance to stay longer! It is a stunning hotel and the surrounding golf course is beautiful. We had a lovely, warm welcome on check-in and each and every one of the staff were really lovely, friendly and very helpful. Our bedroom was gorgeous, with a huge, very comfy bed! It was just so comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was superb! We didn't have to lift a finger, everything was brought to the table and the selection was fabulous! It is such a relaxing place to stay and there are great walks around the hotel and golf course. We will certainly be back again for a longer stay!! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so nice.

Dear Susan B,
thank you very much for your kind words regarding your stay with us recently. It is always such a pleasure to hear when our guests enjoy every aspect of their stay from start to finish and having a relaxing time is exactly what we aim for, so thank you again!
In regards to the breakfast, it is exactly this what we wanted to achieve with the recent change to it, our guests should just sit down and be pampered from start to finish and not lift a finger.
We are happy to hear you will be coming back for a longer stay next time and are looking forward to welcoming you.

Warm regards
Tracy - Guest Relations

Went on a midweek golf outing. Unfortunately the day before was relentless with rain so the course was a bit damp but in fairness if we stuck to the fairways we would have been ok. Front nine a bit shorter than the back but overall liked the course and play was at a decent pace. Check in simple with no fuss and the room was well up to expectations. Dinner was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the monk fish though it carried a small premium. Staff were very attentive as indeed they were the following morning at breakfast. Retired to the bar area after the meal which was indeed very pleasant at least until the ‘music’ started. Quite a few people moved away as there was no need for amplification in such a small room. Difficult to carry on a conversation. Despite that one fault I think the hotel is a brilliant hideaway for a group to enjoy the hotel and its facilities. Maybe sometime FBD might think of doubling up on an offer with there resort in Spain. Will be back

Dear Feed12345,

thank you very much for your review regarding your stay here with a golf outing. Even here in the sunny South East we had our fair share of washed out days and that would have indeed made the course damp but our greens keepers team do a fantastic job in keeping the course up to standard.
Thank you for your comments on the room and the food and the staff, which we believe we are very lucky to have.
We are certainly taking on board your comments about the music, which is also a favourite with our guests on weekends and Wednesdays.
FBD does also have great offers on the resorts in Spain, which are well worth a visit.
Please come back to us in the near future,

Warm regards

We stayed in March in a beautiful four poster room, it was stunning and everything from start to finish was lovely. We had afternoon tea in a room off the bar area and it was very quiet and lovely, we actually had some drinks in here later in the evening. We enjoyed the gardens and the hotel left some lovely macaroons and a nice welcome card in our room.

Recently stayed here for the second time and was pleasantly surprised to find rooms renovated to a much higher standard. More modern decor and modernized bathrooms. I wouldn’t have stayed here a second time if it hadn’t been for a wedding, however, had a much better experience this time.

Unfortunately, our room only had one key. An upgrade to key cards would be an improvement.

Breakfast was nice (although portions a little small) - in place of a buffet a selection of breads/yogurt/scone was served on a tiered cake platter. It was lovely and the menu has also much better. However, there was a wait for breakfast (and the waiting room had no milk for tea!).

Dear Kait Q,

thank you very much for your feedback regarding your recent stay here in Faithlegg. All of our bedrooms have now been renovated and we are delighted that you find them much improved. We certainly share your opinion on this and we are glad you enjoyed the new bathrooms as well.
We do have only one key per room but are happy to let guests into the room anytime they want and find that the keys are a nice asset for a country house Estate.Thank you for your favourable comments on the breakfast and the improvements on it.
We hope to see you again here in the future,

Warm regards

We had a days golf and an overnight in the hotel the course itself is recovering from an extremely wet winter that still needs a week or two to be back to been very good an a month to be excellent I think. The clubhouse staff were fantastic and friendly. The hotel is really nice with friendly and attentive staff the breakfast was wonderful for my dietary requirements. The spa has a lots of treatments and unfortunately on this occasion I didn’t get time to use it. I will be back to play golf stay overnight and use the spa and hopefully the weather will be kinder and the course dryer. Hope this helps
