My husband and I dined there twice since it opened, in Nov. and this past weekend (Dec. 2017). So far we have tried the falafel sandwich, the fatoush salad, and the shrimp kebab. We tried the hummus and also the muhamara appetizer, both excellent. While the food is great, service/kitchen is on and off. On our first visit, the fatoush salad description includes pita, but when it was delivered, there was none. We requested it and it was brought out. On our second visit, I wanted to order the whole baked mediterranean fish, but the server/bar tender indicated that it would take 30 mins... so I ended up ordering the shrimp kebab, which took OVER 30 mins. Thankfully we weren't too much in a rush, but still. We will return because we really like the food and ambiance, but I'm afraid that if service isn't consistent, this place will not last, like all others before it in that same location. St Charles (and neighbor) Geneva have LOTS of nice restaurant options, so average won't work. Eden on the River has GREAT food, good prices, so let's hope that service improves.
