This is such a great place in Schaumburg.
If you want to go for a walk in a peaceful surrounding this is the right place. It is tranquil.
The farm is a little treasure from the 1880s.
I really love the idea showing life on a farm back then. I recommend this place for families, you can see farm animals, a vegetable garden and fruit orchard. Great way to learn where our food comes from.
Definitely will go there more often for a walk from now on.

This place, combined with the adjacent historic farm, is a treasure considering it is very close to Woodfield

My boys grew up at Spring Valley nature center with summer camps, nature lectures, maple syrup festivals, Halloween happenings, and hiking. Now they are seventeen and want to volunteer because they still have great times at the center. Located in Schaumburg, IL and supported by the community and the park district, the nature center is getting better every year, look for their new bison playground opening this fall. Too many fun events to mention, check out their website for things to do for all ages!

This is a nice escape from the city in the middle of Schaumburg. There is a small lake and a creek that go thru the nature center. They have various activities on certain weekends and there is a farm on the west side of the center. A very peaceful place to walk
