This past July I visited Jesus Restaurant again.....this was my second visit, the first one was in November 2015 and it was amazing again. The taste of grilled lobster was amazing. Making reservations was very easy and the service was very friendly. The filled tostones were outstanding! The place is tucked away down a side street in the town of Santa Marta, which is just outside of Varadero, however every cabbie knows this place. The live music is good today, however it can get a bit loud so don't sit at a table inside, in front of the bar. I like to have a conversation with who I'm with and it's hard to talk when your trying to talk over loud music.

This is an amazing little place in Varadero down the back streets serves Cuban food at its best.
The food is out this world and huge portions! Fantastic ambience and the best mojitos we've tasted.
Thoroughly recommend the garlic shrimp such sensational fresh food. Can't wait to get back to cuba next year and go eat here again.

Our cabbie referred them and told us if we don't like the food , we don't owe him for the cab. Excellent food , good wine selection , great staff . Big portions . We will be back !!

One of the staff at our resort recommended this restaurant for dinner in town.
The food was very good. The ambiance was excellent. The service was great. Excellent lobster and Pina Coladas. We were a group of 8 and we were very impressed.
It's not on the strip in Varadero. About 5 minutes outside but worth the little drive.
