Huge classic (aka Old) lake house. We had 4 adults and 7 kids in this house and another 3 adults in the rental next door and had plenty of room. Kitchen worked out well just don't look under the sink! The outdoors are awesome. So many activities to choose from. Make sure you stay till Friday night so you can see the ski show. We watched from the dock but a better view would have been a two minute walk to the beach. Lake was a bit green but the kids didn't mind. Guys caught big catfish right from the dock (while the girls were swimming!) The beds are covered in water proof protectors which don't allow the sheets to stay on the beds. It's the worse part! All night pulling the sheet bad under the mattresses. The owner would benefit from buying deep pocket sheets and/or a different/better type of mattress protectors. The one thing you want on vacation is a good nights sleep. Beds themselves and pillows are fine. House was clean but it is old so don't look too closely and you'll be fine. Nothing fancy going here but then I didn't have to worry about the kids breaking or ruining anything. One thing you need to know is there is a lot of stairs. Only one bedroom with two twin beds on the main floor. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a bathroom. The other two bedrooms (one has Queen and one has Full) are up a different set of stairs plus they share one bathroom. If you have toddlers or a baby this may not be the best choice for your family but it worked out great for all our teenagers. There are stairs to the patio, stairs down to the beach, stairs to driveway, stairs to kitchen from driveway, stairs down to laundry room. But washer and dryer were great! Wifi worked well. TV had plenty of choices but we only had it on one night during a storm. Central air is fantastic. We did not need to use fireplaces.
In the area is a Walmart with groceries within 15 minutes. A smaller grocery a few blocks away. A really great restaurant called Busy Bee - huge portions and everything is about $10 so very reasonable.
Property manager Jason is a super nice guy. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for items to be fixed during your stay. He is busy but does get things going again.
It's expensive for a classic house but its huge with lots to do and on the water. Very peaceful area and relaxing. We had a great time!

Even better than we expected. Price is high if not having a large family reunion or fun weekend with friends (we stayed off season and during the week - the week before Memorial Day to save $; turned out it ended up being a great time to go; a lot of privacy and not too hot yet). With that being said, would absolutely 100% return even if it were just us two again. We ran out of time with everything there was available to do. My favorite part (which is so hard to choose) was sipping my morning coffee in the early sun with all the birds and animals chirping, singing and rustling about around me on all sides. If you are a nature lover, this place is for you. Thanks so much to Jason for all his guidance and assistance. We didn't need a thing; but if was reassuring to know he was around if in fact we did. Thanks again to TA and to Jason - it was an amazing stay. p.s. don't forget your water shoes !! There is a grocery store, a Subway, and an awesome pizzeria (Paulee's, that delivers - delish !! :)

Great place to go relax with family or friends. Kids loved it even doe weather didn't play nice with us. We still had lots of fun in door.
We had a great stay at the Lakehouse! The house was quite HUGE and we had plenty of room for our three couples, an extra friend, three babies and dog. It was really nice after a long day of cooking and eating to head back to your room and feel like you were in your own space. The master bedroom, in particular, is in it's own wing of the house and has been beautifully decorated. There was also a fantastic view of Wonder Lake.
The basement was super fun to hang out in with a pool table, video games and even a slot machine. Jason (the owner) was great about answering all of our questions and providing everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
We didn't get out to Wonder Lake itself much as it was Thanksgiving, but did stop in to the local bar for a quick drink and some beer fries one night. It was nice to have somewhere within walking distance.
