Love the charm of antique tables and chairs with vintage table cloths; the cozy setting nestled in well merchandised antique shop. Food is excellent and the desserts are homemade and fantastic. Worth the drive to a friendly, welcoming experience with good food and small town charm visit Strawberry Fields Mercantile. In case you do not know where Hope is: nearby Edinburgh Premium Outlet or Columbus, Indiana, well worth the short drive. I promise you will savor the dining experience at Aunt Aimee's Country Tea Room in Hope, Indiana

Mother Daughter outing with my Mom. Love the charm of antique tables and chairs with vintage table cloths; the cozy setting nestled in well merchandised antique shop. Enjoyed the wonderful chicken salad served in a bread bowl and side of sweet pasta salad or apple salad served on the charming mixed china pattern plates. In celebration of Mother's Day all moms received a complimentary dessert enjoyed the sugar cream pie. Had lunch here for my Mother-in-law's birthday while antiquing in Indiana. We were there for lunch and had the most enjoyable farm-to-table meal featuring the best grilled cheese ever and a quiche that was quite delightful! The double chocolate cake for desert was a fantastic ending to a very nice experience! The people that work there are extremely friendly and added a personal touch to an already great visit. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Aunt Aimee's Country Tea Room!

What a great spot to find! Lunch in a friendly, country casual location but food that reminds me of my favorite relatives' home cooked delights. We have visited several times and find it always worthy of driving out of our way to get here.
The first treat is finding out it is a restaurant tucked inside an "Americana" decorations/ knickknack store! The second fun treat before you try the food is seeing the table setting includes a random collection of antique china cups and saucers, playful collection of chairs and tablecloths. The place really makes you smile and realize your lunch will be fun before the first bite.
The food always offers two or three homemade soups, several unique sandwiches, great salad options, and my favorite, whatever quiche the house chose to make for the day! The house teas offer great variety and allow the whole visit to continue along the " visiting your favorite Aunt's kitchen" kind of experience. The homemade desserts are probably worth the effort to visit even without the great lunch!
It is truly a meal (and experience!) you can say is unlike any other within 20+ miles!
