“Go west young man” well at least until 5300 block west 38th street. The area recently has had international restaurants pop up along 38th .In one small shopping mall is “Inkas” and very good Peruvian restaurant , an Italian, 2 Mexican, a Japanese ,Jiallos an African and at George Town the famous Dim Sung Chinese Restaurant .
Last night we tried Inkas and had a great dinner, a bottle of good wine and all for $79 for two. We shared each dish and glad we did as sizes are good.
We started with Ceviche De Pescado which came with a very tasty sweet potato massed into a cone shape. The ceviche was perfect. The size served 2 or 3 people easily.
The next dish was Aguadito de Pollo a Chicken soup, rice, vegetable and bouillabaisse very tasty.
The main dish was Camarones al Ajillo Shrimp in spicy garlic sauce with onions served with French fries, salad and rice.
I am an expert in French fries having written a book “Adventures of Spuds De Troy’ there fries were pretty good.

Ten of us had a mini class reunion. The food was delicious. And the service was wonderful. Our servers were so kind and helpful. I had the pollo braza and the flan. Our party tried out a little bit of everything. Ceviche, loma saltido, yucca, plantains, Inka Cola, and more. No one had any complaints. Definitely recommend this place!

I've been here several times and always try something new. Everything has been wonderful. After going to a Peruvian restaurant downtown I wasn't to keen to try it agian but so glad I did. Where the other place was so bland this food has got soul. The wait staff is always willing to answer questions and help with my selection. I've never been disappointed.
