I booked a cottage for 10 people for a 2 family trip to Holiday World. We arrived in early May and felt fortunate to see that not many people had booked it that early. The cottage was perfect - the right amount of Christmas w/out being tacky. One of the 3 ponds/lakes were literally a couple of feet outside of our back door (we stayed in the Jingle Bells cottage). We rented fishing poles ($5.00 a pole for the entire stay) and let our kids (age 6 - 18) loose on the pond. Within the first 2 hours of fishing the youngest of the group had caught over 10 - 15 fish! It is catch and release so while we could not eat our spoils, the kids loved how easy the fishing was and made them so happy. Other things we loved: 1) Fantastic service - loved both Pat and Brenda 2) Firepit - we roasted hot dogs/marshallows 3) Nice accessible playground and basketball court (with balls already at the court) 4) Random hammocks throughout the property 5) Free DVD to borrow from office if you stay in. Overall we absolutely loved this place and will book another trip and not bother with Holiday World so we can simply enjoy this property! Only downside - not much in way of restaurants, etc. near here so bring food or be prepared to hit up small and local grocery store and cook in!

So great to find accommodations for our family of seven! This family owned and operated business goes above and beyond to make their cottages and property perfect for other families to enjoy! The separate bedrooms in the cabin made it perfect for putting our twin toddlers to bed before the rest of us. We were visiting over fall break for a trip to Holiday World and stayed in a cabin with a loft. Our kids loved the playground and the big sandbox and of course the free fish food was such a wonderful touch! The cottage was clean and nice! The grocery was close, although I highly advise not forgetting something as important as your pack-n-plays as a trip to the nearest walmart felt like FOREVER away!! :) We had a great time roasting marshmallows over our private fire pit, playing cards at the dining table and of course visiting Santa! We WILL be back and have already told our friends about this great accommodation!

Lovely cute cottages, beautifully done.
I found them pricey though, esp because they charge $25 for linens !!! I did not mind the overall experience minus the fact i had to pay that amount for linens.
The cottage doesnt provide any basic supplies ! ( no dishwasher soap and you are expected to clean and keep the dishes away)!

Room tip: carry your own linens if you want to save $25 !

Three of us stayed in Holly Tree this past weekend. The cottage was lovely and clean with plenty of room for us. The furniture was well made and sturdy and the beds were comfortable. It had a balcony with a table & chairs overlooking the lake. The property was immaculate and in warmer weather it has plenty to offer families. It was peaceful. One of the owners came by on the second day to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I look forward to staying here again.

We rented Vixen's Stable for a getaway weekend with friends. There were 5 of us and we were very comfortable.

Our weekend was spent making crafts, so we not only had 5 women's belongings, but we had supplies needed for 3 days of crafting. The cabin was perfect for us.

It was by far the cleanest rental property I've ever stayed in...ever! We upgraded to include linens and it was well worth it.

The views from the back porch were awesome. The cabin was right on the pond. The fountain was a beautiful addition.

Bed was comfy and shower was clean.

I know I'm rambling, but I can't express how awesome it was. We will be back next year.

Also very family friendly, we noticed lots of happy kiddos around the pond, playing on playground or spending time with family.
