We stayed here one night while traveling from California to North East US. About 60 miles west of Indianapolis, this friendly KOA got our vote. Not fancy, the welcome was very friendly. We even were escorted by receptionist on her golf cart to our RV spot.there is a store and restaurant that serves all 3 meals. Breakfast starts at 8AM. Dinner ends at 7:30PM. Because it was quite cold in early April, what we appreciated most were the clean, nicely lit and HEATED showers and restrooms. 5 stars for that alone. We would come back when passing by.

Terre Haute KOA greets you with a smile and helpful suggestions from the Camp Host. This park has a lot of things for the kids to do: a go-cart track, basketball mini-court, games, playground, animals, swimming pool, and a western themed camp town. For adults there are some very nice common areas; large, covered campfire ring with porch swings, an outside camp kitchen, and an onsite cafe. The laundry was very clean and the 4 washers looked fairly new. However, only 2 of the 4 dryers worked and those took forever to dry our laundry. This park had ample space between gravel sites which were fairly level and the roads were nice and wide. Our picnic table was sitting in a hole of sorts, so it would have been a muddy mess if it rained. When booking for this park, you need to ask for directions because our GPS could not find the park. There is a lot of construction going on and perhaps some new roads have not been updated into the GPS systems. We were not the only ones to have trouble finding the park.

this was a stopover for us in a travel trailer and we were impressed with the campground as it was clean, level and had the amenities that we needed for a stopover; staff was friendly and accommodating

Room Tip: campground rates are a little above average for norm

We were greeted with smiles. Very impressed when a young lady who was officially off duty took care of us so we could get to our site sooner. The burgers at the cafe were outstanding. The gentleman who was the chef and owner was entertaining and genuine! We highly recommend this campground and will visit every time we are passing through.

We were parked here for r months while I worked in Terre Haute. We would recommend it to anyone.
My husband in fact ended up cooking 4 nights a week in their cafe.
The pool was large and clean.
We had no issues with our stay.
