I have stayed at dozens of Fairfield Inns across the county and most are well maintained, clean and updated. This property was surprising in that it was obviously in need of TLC. The carpeting in the hallway is bubbling, in desperate need of replacing. Otherwise, the room was comfortable, clean and adequate for my needs.

This is clearly a 2 Star Hotel vs an advertised 2:5 Star:

No real lobby and halls bland to elevator,

Staff was very friendly including the maid staff and breakfast staff. The Breakfast was better than average and worth a few extra points in this rating.

Terrible. The room not clean and the pool not working. Also no hot tub as advertised.Breakfast was good.The bathroom floor had pee stains on it. The room coffee was terrible. I could have spent alot less and had a better stay elsewhere. Will not stay there ever again.

1st time in Davenport, came for a concert. Marriott's are our go to hotels, stayed at the Fairfield Inn & it was everything we needed. It's tucked in behind Green Buick GMC Car Dealership - watch for that sign & you're almost there. Front desk staff were great, gave us a goody bag since it was our 1st time with them. We had room 301 which was clean, with a nice big sized "mini" fridge, microwave, single serve coffee maker, adequate plug-ins, good wifi, quiet heat/ac unit & no room-to-room noise & minimal road noise. The sink is located outside the bathroom, which we like. Fluffy towels, Paul Mitchell toiletries. The beds were comfy.The breakfast selection included scrambled eggs or cheese omelettes, bacon, sausages, biscuits & gravy, mini waffles, hot & cold cereals, toastables, fresh apples & bananas & cut up honeydew & pineapple. The usual juices, yogurts, pastries & more. It was a good experience, we'd recommend it & we'd stay here again.

The bed was uncomfortable, furnishings old and outdated, the floor above us squeaked every time the people above us walked across it - which kept us up most of the night. I spoke to the desk clerk upon check out and let her know we were not satisfied with our stay (they had a sign displaying the "Guaranteed Stay"). She informed me the manager would contact us and either offer to pay some or all of our stay or give us points - we never heard from anyone. And every other hotel on our trip sent us an opportunity to rate them - interestingly enough - no such offer came from this hotel.

Room Tip: get a top floor room - at least you will be making the noise keeping others up instead of others keeping you up
