Having never before been here I gave them a try. This is first a camp ground. The other amenities come later. It sits on over 160 acres. several camp sites available here many with electricity;drinking water and showers;pit and flush toilets;places for the kids(playground/ baseball field/volleyball); hiking trails; fishing available; picnic areas and best of all, wheelchair accessible. The day I visited it was of course for those trails. Many small ones with in the mile or less. One almost connects the entire interior of the park. Nice, clean fresh smells here. Pine, Cedar and many Oak trees. Saw a few people out walking dogs on leashes. If you know your movie trivia there is the movie site "Fields of Dreams" nearby. That alone is worth a visit. Plenty of parking at New Wine. And again near one of the prettiest small town in Iowa I have been/seen. Friendly people, cheap gas and in my opinion a great place for families.

Room Tip: This is a camp ground and not a hotel/motel.

We wanted a campground close to the field of Dreams field for a 60 and over baseball tournament. It's not a huge campground. You can only make reservations for a percentage of the sites. You need to register with the county through their web site. All easy to do. We made a reservation 6 weeks prior to our stay. We called and got advice on which site to pick. There are no pull through sites. All of the sites are spacious. The camp ground was easy to find. The shower was good. It's not a five star hotel. It's a quaint little county park camp ground. It's not a Good Sams or KOA with kids playgrounds and a club house. But if you need a well kept campground to hang out for a couple of days this is the place

Very Nice County Park, and just a few miles from the "Field Of Dreams".
Stayed here three days to visit Field of Dreams and explore the area around Dyersville.
Clean neat campground with water and 30 Amp hookups and dump.

Busy on weekend with locals but nearly empty during the week.
Level Campsites nearly all back ins. Good spacing between sites
would stay here again if we were in the area.
