This place is a combination ice cream shop, fast food joint & museum. The owners have packed the ice cream shop with nuggets of local history and classic bits of Americana. You can listen to the jukebox while you sip on your malt or snack on your fries. While your waiting for your food check out the fire museum next door.

This little shop is clean, 50's quaint, and has lots of potential. The jukebox in the corner played our favorite songs from that era. It is adjacent to a firehouse museum, which is very interesting. The waitress "did her job" getting our ice cream & then retreated to a back room without conversation....

Not much in the way of ice cream. Even though the malts were made with soft serve, they were excellent. The people were very friendly and also showed us the Iowa Fire Museum attached to the ice cream parlor. We also ate lunch there and the hamburger was good and the chicken salad was excellent.
