This truly a gem for Sioux City. Great food, great service and the price is right. A truly great experience as well as drive thru. The outside doesn't tell the true Greek story of this awesome place. If you are traveling and want to have something other than chain food, a local gem. This is your place! Authentic all the way

The gyros are awesome as well as the philly sammiches--love their fries and portions!
The burgers are tasty, I like mine a little on the salty side :)
Opa time is greek family owned, not a franchise-I used to eat at a restaurant they used to own so when Opa time opened, it was easy to support them again!
Don't forget some homemade Baklava to top it all off-you won't be disappointed!

Opa Time makes the best gyros in town. They are stuffed so full of delicious meat that I can hardly close the sandwich. The cucumber sauce is yummy too. The price is good - only $5 per gyro, and service is quick through the drive-thru. Opa Time is one of our favorite places to eat.

As long as the guy in the photo, who I think is the owner, is cooking this is above average. So many places warm the meat or they heat the meat so the fat renders and it causes it to be greasy in your throat. Cooked and sliced properly the meat should have crispy edges and enough of a soft inside. They also give you your money's worth in meat.

I've been there other times where someone else was cooking and it was so-so, but the owner is almost always cooking. Seriously, the difference between a properly made Gyro and one that isn't is night and day.

I wished they added more Greek dishes and dumped their American menu.

Love this place. Delicious Gyros. Always very friendly and fast. I use the drive thru here a lot on my way to work. The Gyro salad is my favorite to take to work for lunch. Lettuce, tomatoes, Greek olives, onion, feta cheese, cucumber with cucumber dressing topped with Gyro meat and a Pita bread on the side. Ask for the meat on the side if you are going to eat it later and warm up the meat then. Love it.
