Hotel is worn happy they are renovating it. Breakfast area is crowded but it's being expanded. I would not recommend it till they're finished. They are now in the middle of it and it's messy. Although it is clean

As usual, a Marriott brand doesn't disappoint! Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. The guys at the desk were eager to help and even went out of their way to get us extra linens and blankets on two separate calls.

The breakfast had all the good fixings but I could tell it was the generic brand of fixings. The turkey sausage was dry and bland because it was not Jimmy Dean. The eggs were a little watered down too. But the fruit was nice and fresh!

Later in the evening, long after we checked out and arrived at our destination, we realized we left something behind in the room. I called the hotel and the item was there at the front desk and they will make sure it stays there until we come back and get it when we pass through the area again going in the other direction! Typically if you leave something behind in a hotel room, you never see it again. Sounds like this hotel sets stuff aside until the guest claims it!

I strongly recommend this hotel for the great location, very close to Walmart, food and the interstate, and the excellent service!

We like staying at this Fairfield inn but it is very disappointing that they are rated as a 5 stars hotels and costs 25000-30000 points when every other Fairfield inn we've stayed in and lots of the courtyards are from 7500-15000 points. Food is always the same. It is one of the cleanest we've stayed in and the employees are friendly. Better deal for those guests that are not Marriot members price wise than for Marriot members. Marriot members should not get gouged by high points. Maybe they don't want us to use points.

The room was fine and the bedding good. The breakfast was okay. The eggs were awful and the vegetable sausage was really bad. We have been Marriott's Rewards members for many years, but we are going to stop. The points they charge for a place like this are ridiculous.

The front desk clerk in the evening was ok, nothing to write home to mom about. The over night clerk, he was superior. Very engaging, busy, but kept a very positive attitude! He was busy making breakfast and trying to check people out. I know it is a complimentary breakfast, but it was more like a "here it is" type breakfast rather than any excitement behind it. Had several FFIS breakfasts, this one was towards the bottom, thus the 4 for a score.
