Realizing we'd not visited here in several years, we dropped by on our way from Lexington. It's a very, very nice venue. It truly showcases Kentucky made items and crafts. All are for sale of course. It has an "artsy" atmosphere as it should. Items are a little pricey, but considering local made if you visit places such as this you'll understand. No flea market stuff here. Also some good books by Kentucky authors, and Kentucky history as well for those who live in the state.
They have a nice snack bar as well.
We'll go back this summer and try to make it a quarterly trip to see how they rotate items in and out.
Well worth a stop when traveling.

Some weekend days a craftsman will be on site to demonstrate his/her skill. It’s a nice place to purchase gifts.
Very clean and neat place to stop.

A great place to take a walk, browse around the shop, beautiful hand crafted art work. Dine in the cafeteria! Use the clean bathrooms.

While the Artisan Center is not nearly as big as I thought it would be, it was so full of quality crafted product that the size did not matter. Two hours was plenty for both my wife and myself. The snack bar served good food and it was an enjoyable time. I would go back in the future.

Great place to stop and stretch. Lots of Kentucky arts and crafts to look at and buy. Nice little cafeteria to get a bite from a sandwich to a plate lunch. Bathrooms are always clean and fresh. Buses can stop also.
Great staff to provide a friendly welcome and assistance.
