Saw symbol on the map when looking for a rest stop while traveling west. This was the best rest stop ever. Very nice building with a cafe that offers a surprising menu. It is filled with beautiful arts and crafts made in Kentucky. You could spend hours here. If you are traveling I-75 take exit 77, I don't think you will regret it.

We have stopped at the Kentucky Artisan Center several times while passing through the area. We enjoy a break from driving while being amazed at the talents of the artists.

Heading back to Ohio from Florida we wanted to take a break and saw the signs for this center and decided to stop. Boy were we surprised!

This place is lovely!! It is a large facility that has a huge assortment of artwork and crafts from local artisans. There is a place to grab a bite to eat, in good weather you could sit outside, the restrooms are the cleanest I've EVER seen and they even had flowers on the counters.

What a breath of fresh air on a roadtrip that is full of friendly kind people. Great job Kentucky. We'll be back!!!

Iike being in a museum.
Mostly art as opposed to arts and crafts.
Local artists display their work for sale and there are some beautiful, fanciful, even whimsical pieces available. Prices are relatively ambitious.
It is a fun experience.
There is a snack bar too.

We stopped for lunch and the art on our way south. The center has a large space featuring the gorgeous arts and crafts of Kentucky, and it is awesome, with prices comparable to other stores featuring these items. The cafe is at the far end of the center. We recommend ordering your food first, and then viewing the art, because it took almost a half hour to get one chicken salad sandwich and one catfish sandwich. We are Kentuckians and have visited three times before, and every time, the cafe is too slow! Also, we have never visited and found all the food stations open. What gives?
