Berea is a nice place to visit and eat at Boone Tavern. It is a restaurant and hotel. Save room for bourbon pumpkin bread pudding for dessert. Then you can walk around to see the various shops and see the artists in progress at the visitor center next door. The inn has a card where you can earn points from your stay and meals. Fall is busy to see the colorful trees.

Room tip: AARP rates are super!

Awesome hotel!! It’s a must stay hotel if you’re in the erea. Skip the big hotel chains it’s well worth it! Great lobby, rooms are nice and clean. Went for dinner around the corner, pizza and beer ! Again it’s worth the trip !

This hotel has been beautifully updated while still retaining the historic charm. Lovely, bright and well maintained property and very friendly and helpful staff. Was pleasantly surprised to find a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, which was wonderful after our day of hiking at Cumberland Falls. It was nice to walk to the local shops and restaurants. Even though the noise from other rooms was a bit distracting (it is an old building!), will definitely stay again. Loved getting coffee and baked goods from Berea Coffee and Tea next door. SO MUCH BETTER than a chain hotel, 40 min from Lexington.

Stayed two (2) nights in early October 2018. Beautiful historic facility. Modern conveniences. Very well maintained. Very clean. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again when traveling in the area. Berea is a beautiful city as well.

Room tip: Our room with two beds had two QUEEN size beds which is nice.

This is a fantastic, historic hotel, so much character that you'll never see in a chain. Everything was very clean, and well maintained. Decorated beautifully. Just a little disappointed in the town, not as cute as I would have imagined. But, there is a very nice welcome center with all kinds of crafts as you drive in. We did have dinner in the restaurant that will be a separate review. Very nice to have everything in one lovely building.
