We stayed at the buckhorn campground right down from the dam. Kind of nervous about trying new places, especially ones like this that are way out there. Long story short...it's beautiful. Well taken care of. Clean bathhouse/restrooms. Very nice pads. Right next to the creek. Quiet. The only advice I have is pick a spot on the left side of the campground if it's hot. No shade on the right. Nice playground. Will definitely be back. Our 34' travel trailer had plenty of room, even parking the truck in front. All the sites seem simular in size.
