“Amazing Business Trip to this hidden treasure”
Reviewed 2 April 2012

I had a great time relaxing in this hidden cabin. I was invited to an awesome meal and a bottle of great wine later I was super relaxed and felt at home with my new founds friends. Can't wait til my next business trip takes me to this part of KY. The room I stayed in was super clean and the bathroom was the same. I have traveled all over the world and this place can give the major hotel brands a run for their money. Stay here and you will not be sorry.

We traveled to KY from AL for an ATV Rzr weekend which would be was about 30 miles away. The only options for hotels were NOT appealing at all so I began to seek other accommodations. We had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and didn’t really know what to expect; however , we were amazed from the moment we pulled into the drive!
Jaro welcomed us at the front door by our first names, which was impressive to say the least. They have designated places for us to park our Rzr which was a nice addition. The entire home was warm and inviting and had the perfect touch and ambiance. The bed (king size) will be terribly missed as it slept like sleeping on a cloud! We enjoyed a delightful and different breakfast each morning before we headed out for the day. On our last night, we had incredible dinner prepared for us and dined with Jaro and Marion. The meal was fabulous and the conversation was as if we had known one another for years. This was more than just a place to stay…. It was a memorable weekend and a new found forever friendship created! We will most definitely return to Hidden Cave Ranch as I want to spend more time with our new friends, see the caves, enjoy the curly horses (which I have never seen in person), and learn more about the culture of my new friends from Netherland. New visit we may take time to enjoy the lake!
If you are looking for a standard room with a hard uncomfortable bed, TV, phone, no personal service or hospitality and feel confined to 4 tight walls, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a nice size room, comfortable bed to rest, a fabulous breakfast each morning, incredible views to wake up to, surrounded by peaceful setting and privacy as you so desire… then you MUST stay here! I am still amazed. THANK YOU for a weekend that will always be cherished!!

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs which was very large and spacious. Each room has its own uniqueness about it. All...

We had such a wonderful "Girls getaway Weekend". This was just the spot for a laid back fun filled weekend in February. The scenery is so gorgeous, even without foliage. We had a great hike to the cave, met some great curly horses and also got in some antiques hunting. there was lots of good food, wine and conversation. The log cabin is so beautifully furnished with Jaro's handmade furniture. We plan on making this an annual get together! I want to see it in the summer time too. I'll be back!!!!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great

Our family stayed at The Hidden Cave Ranch B&B during a weekend wedding; every single room was lovely and quite comfortable and we had a terrific time!! Our room contained a MASSIVE king-sized bed that Jaro hand built and was so comfortable that we really didn't want to get up in the morning . . . but coffee and delicious smells from the kitchen convinced us we needed to head downstairs - so glad we did because breakfast was wonderful. Jaro & Marion are the perfect hosts, made us feel comfortable and right at home - even playing pool with my very competitive father-in-law. The log home sits on 156 acres of beautiful land tucked away on a picturesque hillside with a large wraparound porch that overlooks the horse stables and pastures - it was just beautiful and we really didn't want to leave. We will DEFINITELY be back for another visit soon - we feel as if Jaro & Marion are now part of our family!

We were visiting Burkesville for our daughters wedding. Nine of us stayed in this beautiful cabin that sits off the beaten path but the property was beautiful with a great view from every window. Jaro and Marion greeted us on arrival and we immediately felt at home. They had the Christmas lights and decorations up for the holidays and the cabin is furnished to make you feel comfy and at home. The log beds were wonderful and personally the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Jaro is a wonderful cook, breakfast was served family style and it was delicious! Jaro and Marion were such gracious host and instantly became part of our family. We invited them to the wedding and they came!!! We definitely want to visit again and see the horses and cave and visit with our new friends.

We (couple) called in for a bed and breakfast last minute and were very welcome to come even though a large group had just been over and the owners must have been very tired. We haven't regretted our choice! Friendly and homely atmosphere, a soft and large bed and super service. Delicious live-cooked all-american breakfast.
we enjoyed a cosy warm night in spite of the rain. Must go back to check out the res of the mountain!
