“Fantastic Weekend!”
Reviewed June 12, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We rented the cabin for a stagette weekend. We had 8 guests and there was still plenty of room if need be. The cabin and yard was very well kept, location wnas great, close to restaurant, marina and beach, kitchen was stocked with a lot more than just the basics. Check in was a breeze and all transactions were easy. Thank you so much for the accommodations, we will def be back!!

“Great large family rental cabin”
Reviewed August 24, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We decided to stay at this cabin after a few years at a different lake cabin rental but wanted something different. This one was a great choice. With 6 bedrooms everyone could find a place to sleep & not have to share a bedroom. Even the swinging beds were good! - (just to some getting used to). The 2 bathrooms helped. Kitchen was a good size even when we had a few cooks making breakfast Sunday morning. Kitchen well stocked. It was cooler on Sunday so we ate inside - not everybody at table but hey, it's not Thanksgiving, we're at a lake!
We thought the outside area was too small when we first got there - but there was plenty of space on the deck & even around the fire pit there was adequate space. A small strip of grass behind the house was enough to play some games. Lots of parking space. Neither of the neighbors were there so that helped. It is a short walk to the beach area but we expected that.
Had a grandson who found a knot hole in the floor & made half of the chess pieces disappear. So went in the crawlspace to get them - no problem. But we didn't realize that they had their own water system. If we would have known we could have cut back on water usage - (if it's yellow let it mellow). So as a suggestion to Raelynn could have a list of a few things like that on the table for new guests. Also an email about how or where to pick up key. We emailed first to find out - no big deal. Have to apologise to her for asking for an early arrival & then showing up 1 1/2 hrs late. Also we may have been slightly loud Friday night but I think the wall & lack of neighbors helped kept the complaints to zero. (not that we were that loud!)
All in all, a very nice place to rent at the lake for us, the kids & grandkids and would like to come back again. Bill

“Perfect”

We had 11 full sized men and still had lots of room. Lots of parking for sleds and vehicles. Everything we could need. Two problems we did have were the map location of the cabin is not accurate in the slightest. We thought we could just walk out onto the ice and fish when in reality the cabin is 100 feet from the Cove gas station. Second was the ad states a fireplace, there is a fire pit, no fireplace. Ample space for everyone to eat and everything was clean. The rope beds are a bit tricky, especially the one on the left but definitely add to the overall. Watch your noggin in the upstairs bathroom. This might read a bit negatively but understand these are the only issues we could find. Everything was perfect. Lots of room for everything and perfect routes to the lake for ice fishing and out the back way to the trails. Just book it and be happy.
