This place has a lot of character and is full of locals. As with everybody I’ve encountered in Danville, the staff is very nice and very attentive. The food was very good. Great place for a country breakfast.

I've eaten here several times for breakfast but only twice for lunch. I wasn't impressed with lunch items/quality of food but breakfast was ok for the price.

A good spot for breakfast or lunch while in Danville. Breakfast has the expected menu items, and many of the locals meet here for their first cup of coffee. A varied buffet is served at lunch with soup to dessert. The buffet entrees vary daily, but the ones I sampled were good, home-cooked chicken and noodles, several vegetables choices and cookies among other desserts. Good value for the buffet. Service is very good, and the cook was willing to make adjustments for allergies, etc.

The food is great and the wait staff great! There is a pleasant young lady who works there named Maddie. She does a great job.
Breakfast is the best!!!

went twice in two weeks, got the same breakfast , each was less than $8.00.
It takes awhile to get it when they're busy, but it's worth the wait. Love the biscuits and
gravy, nice light color with pepper added, moist biscuits, and terrific homefries (get them
with cheese and onions). Interesting atmosphere inside, kinda throwback to the old
style restaurant. On Main St just up from Post Office.
