We were here to celebrate a birthday, party of 9 people. The food was good, but very expensive. $26 for prawn coconut curry. Well, luckily that curry was very tasty. I still don’t know that it justifies such a high price though. Butter chicken $20. Dishes do not come with rice or naan. You must order separately, $5 per naan. I have eaten here twice before, and the prices have definitely increased significantly. Our bill came to $256 for 9 people. No alcoholic beverages, just 3 soft drinks.
All of the servers were chewing gum the entire time. I found that very off putting, especially when this is supposed to be a high end restaurant. Also, I don’t think our server smiled once. I’ve never really experienced friendly service during any of our visits.
The washrooms are very old and in need of a renovation, but this is the case with many of the restaurants on Main Street Unionville.
The food here is tasty. If the price wasn’t so high, we would definitely visit more often.
