We stayed at Venus Bay Caravan Park for 8 nights (the eighth night was for free as we booked for the whole week) at Cabin 5 (Dolphin). The cabin was very spacious and well equipped. It was also spotlessly clean. The little shop was well stocked up and the fish and chips delicious. Linda and Chris and the other staff were always helpful. You can see that they really enjoy working there. We didn't fish, but could see others bringing a lot of fish, and the pelicans waiting patiently around the cleaning table...
We will be back.

Popular little caravan park, right on the water. A sheltered bay even if a little windy at times. All facilites of the park are well kept only grassed sites were missing but as the town is on rain and bore water only grass would be a frivolous expense. We really enjoyed our time here and will visit again when next in the area.

You don't have to go to Streaky Bay and Elliston to get fantastic coastal vistas and great accommodation. Don't over look this unspoilt oasis at Venus Bay. All the staff at the caravan park are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They also make their own super fish and chips; good prices and you can sit and eat them on their covered verandah overlooking the bay. We will be back!

Gorgeous spot between Port Lincoln and Ceduna. Lots of friendly regulars and all sites and cabins have a view of the bay. Fabulous amenities, camp kitchen etc and just a really peaceful gentle place to be. Apparently known for whiting, many of the regulars are fisher folk and he pecans line up for their share of the catch. Thoroughly recommend this spot, the metal at ire. Is well socked including wines etc and there are plenty of coves, beaches an caves to explore just nearby. Loved it!!
