This little out of the way Caravan Park is a bewdy. The owners managers make this place what it is. The friendliest bestest place ever, and the fishing is also great.

M<any thanks to you all. We will be in touch in the New Year about a booking for late 2016.

This park is one of the friendliest parks we've ever been to. The owners Linda and Chris together with their enthusiastic staff go out of their way to make one feel welcome.
We provided our own accommodation in the form of a caravan.
The park facilities are excellent being both clean and well supplied with hot water.Rain water is available for drinking but may be rationed when drought has been experienced.
There is also a well equipped Camp Kitchen Hut with bbqs, fridge, microwave etc.
Fishing, boating, crabbing, dolphin spotting, coastal walks and bird watching are on the doorstep.
We love it!

We booked 3 cabins in Dec for 2 nights. Total 12 people of 3 families with young children.
We went to Venus Bay with purpose of going pipies picking on the beach plus fishing near the river.

It was very quite in the town and the beach. The caravan park was quite as well. There is a swimming behind our cabins as well, outdoor not heated.

Get to cooked inside our own cabins, setup a table outside between the cabins, and had dinner together.

Rooms are clean and well kept. Very friendly reception, easy check-in and check-out.

Will stay again next time visit Venus Bay.

This gorgeous holiday park has to be on your list of places to stay on the Eyre Peninsula. The owners are really down to earth, super friendly and will do nearly anything for you. Rates are very reasonable (although best to call them to check rates as the website is not quite up-to-date), and we found it to be a very peaceful and quiet caravan park, even though it was nearly full!
We stayed in a small one bedroom (studio style) cabin which was ample for our needs, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable mattress.
Linen is available for $20 and if you're a kenn fisherman and have a boat license then you can hire one of their tinnies for $45 for 3 hrs ($15/hr). Chris was extremely helpful and flexible with our use of the boat given we were there during some stormy weather.

We would have loved to stay here for a week but had to keep moving.
Thank you Ruth, Chris and team for a lovely stay.

We (my mother, two brothers and I) went to Venus Bay for a few nights with our friends to have a mini two-family vacation. When we got there unfortunately it was raining and the road in the park was dirt. We stayed in a cabin. It was clean enough but a little dusty and there were a few cobwebs. The DVD player didn't work and my mother and her friend had trouble with the oven.
A damper on our trip though was a guest next door. We weren't being extremely noisy, we were a group of nine so a little noise is expected and only natural. The lady went to the reception and actually reported us! Thankfully, she and her husband left the next day so here was no further conflict.
There were a quite few kids there, expected as it was the summer holidays, a couple in need of a few lessons in etiquette but aside from that our stay was an enjoyable one.
One more con about the caravan park is that it is a good distance away from any stores. There is a general store there but as usual it's a little less bang and bit more buck.
A few pros are there is a nice pool nearby and the staff are friendly. The caravan has beautiful trees and nature.
WARNING: There are some beautiful beaches near the caravan park but the water gets very deep and dangerous. Don't swim in the evening, the tide is dangerous.

Room tip: The cabins are nice and clean. The cabins and camping grounds are away from each-other to avoid collision.
