This was by far the 2nd worst place we have stayed. Stay was non existent. Next time we will be staying in Owensboro. Started with only 4 cars in parking lot. This should of been our first sign. No one was at the front desk. Had to wait for the owner to come in from working on the pool. He said sorry but pool was broken, so no pool use. Had to wait for the owner to get his act together to get us checked in, then midway thru check I , he took a call and handed us off to his wife who didn't speak very good English. finally got checked in and when we came back from seeing the grand kids, at 10 at night, still only 4 cars and no staff at front desk and the front door was unlocked! Room was just ok. We had to plug in fridge and it froze our food. Went out to breakfast area next AM and still no staff and no food for breakfast out. After ringing the bell and yelling down the hall to see if anyone was around, we received no answer. Went back to our room, had for packing up and putting things in our car, did the non shaven, just crawled out of bed looking owner once apologized and said if we wanted something to eat he could probably get something for us if we really want it.. By now it was after 8 and we were not in the mood to wait around any longer so finally got our bill and checked out and left that mess. As we were leaving, another guest was giving the owner his piece of mind as well. Moral of story, avoid this place.
