We’ve lived in Lexington for 14 years and decided to finally give Horseshoes a try for dinner and drinks. The bartender and patrons were very welcoming, but the manager behind the bar was the end all for us. We sat at the bar where we ordered the beer cheese and veggies appetizer which came out quickly and was very good. We had every intention of ordering dinner too. However, the manager behind the bar was extremely condescending to one of the employees numerous times then kept looking at us for whatever reason. It made both my husband and me very uncomfortable. Also, my husband’s empty beer glass sat on the bar - right in front of the manager - for at least five minutes. He (mgr) was too preoccupied belittling the employee to ask us if we needed a refill. I even said to my husband, a little louder than normal, “do you want another beer?” Again, the manager who was right in front of us behind the bar, didn’t acknowledge us. We paid and left, never to return again.
