We found this house to be thoroughly enjoyable, everything was well thought out, and did not lack for anything.
It was very clean, thoroughly stocked with everything - tons of linens, dishes, paper products, extra blankets, towels - lots of seating, inside and out.
Beautiful area, no traffic, lots of wildlife.
We really enjoyed the porch swings. There are two - one under the house that faces the lake, and another on the front porch, which is under cover - useful in rainstorms.
The hot tub was clean, comfortable, and faces the lake - nice views while you relax.
The owner provided a binder that held all the information you need. A section called "How To" that explains how to do anything in the house - from operating the Blu-Ray to operating the shower. Also info on everything local - bourbon trail, restaurants, attractions, etc.
We would definitely stay here again!
2 reviews This house is a great place to get away and be at peace with nature. The house itself is beautiful and you can tell a lot of heart was put into the remodel. We enjoyed every part of the house from the soft beds to the great dining space to the hot tub. We can’t wait to visit again!
1 review I was impressed with the location and setting of this cabin. It was very comfortable and well-decorated. We stayed in the winter - it was so beautiful to wake up in the morning and see the snow on the hills and the fog rising from the lake behind the house. And, it was so cozy to sit in front of the fireplace and simply relax!
