You name it: fireside reading with my boyfriend while it snowed outside, fresh-baked bread (vegan, to accommodate my diet), fresh breakfast, immaculate and charming room. We had a magical holiday this past winter. The innkeepers are friendly, easygoing and professional. We loved it!!!

My husband and I love to stay at B&B's, we have stayed at many and I would rate the Benjamin Packard House as one of the top ones we've stayed at. The small touches that they offer, like a beautiful pitcher of ice water in your room at night and your bed turned down. Talk about pampering. The rooms are beautiful and everything is immaculate. The breakfast was to die for, and I just about did trying to eat it all, it was scrumptious!!! We went in March and plan on going back with the nicer weather to enjoy the wonderful gardens that Amy has created. Thank you for a great stay.

We chose Bath as a meeting place for our family to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.
The Packard House was beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, comfortable and charming. The rooms are all spacious with comfortable beds.
In a quiet residential area just a short drive from town. Probably a very pleasant walk in warmer weather.
The owners were extremely thoughtful and welcoming and breakfast on both mornings was wonderful and abundant.
Highly recommended for folks without young children.

Room Tip: Don't bring too much. Rooms are big but not a lot of room for clothing, etc.

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit Bath and stayed at the Benjamin Parkard B&B the fall of 2011. We found Bath wonderful. Bath is a maritime city that has retained the charm of the 19th Century while offering fine dining and extraordinary shopping.

However, our stay at the Benjamin Parkard B&B capped this trip. The B&B was superb, in fact the finest B&B experience we have had. The Benjamin Parkard house has been restored with care and delightfully decorated. Amy Hranicky, the proprietor, was an exceptional host. She was congenial, hospitable, and always found the time to help and guide us with our Bath tour. Amy sets a very delicious breakfast.

We highly recommend the Benjamin Packard House.

This was our second trip to the Benjamin F. Packard House. We honeymooned in Maine in 2010 and spent a wonderful week visiting coastal Maine while we stayed in Bath, so we decided to come back to celebrate our 1st anniversary. We couldn't find something to complain about if we tried. The house is beautiful, the beds are super comfy, and breakfast is delicious. Amy and Mark create a comfortable oasis for travelers in Maine.

The Packard House is close enough to walk to the downtown as well. This is great for shopping, and also nice for walking to dinner at night. They have a tv room and free wifi, so you can get connected if you really want to. And we can't forget Lupi! He steals the show on their blog and Facebook page, and is always there to greet new guests.

We would recommend the Packard House to anyone coming to Maine and hope to come back again!

Room Tip: Try the Downeaster room for a great soaking tub.

What a beautiful b & b! Great rooms, amazing breakfast, and the greatest dog greets you upon your arrival. We would make a special trip to Bath just to stay here, again. Thank you for a great start to our Maine vacation!

We loved our stay at the Packard House. Amy and Mark were great hosts---sufficiently attentive to our needs, but not intrusive. The house is immaculately clean. Our beds were turned down and a nice pitcher of ice water and sweets were waiting for us in the evening. The chalk menu board tempted you with a delightful selection of creations; there was always more than you could possibly eat. The house is within walking distance of downtown on a quiet side street (great for sleeping.) We will definitely be visiting again and again when we can get away. (We also run a small bed and breakfast ourselves so we can be a bit fussy---this not only met, but exceeded our expectations.)
