Stayed at the Fairway townhouses for a week, in the Birches building, which was right on the golf course and the closest townhouse to the main inn. Lovely property, the main living area is upstairs, it's open concept, very spacious and included a fireplace and AC. The kitchen is well outfitted and we ate breakfast and dinner there most days. Great view off the deck, gorgeous sunsets most nights. The bedrooms are in the basement, one room had a king bed and while the bathroom wasn't ensuite, it was very close. The other room had two queens with a ensuite. Everything was very clean, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit dated. The bathroom for the king room is tiny, and the tub is a bit spongy, and overdue for an update, I'd say. Lots of closet space and unit had a washer & dryer. The pool was very close, approximately a 5 minute walk, with the main inn/pro shop just beyond that. We got good use of the pool, and the boys in our group golfed several times, with no difficulty getting a tee time. Ate at the Millbrook Tavern one night, very good service and the food was also good. All in all, very pleased with our stay and we will definitely be back.

So glad you enjoyed your stay in our Fairway Townhouse. Our 53 condominiums are very popular and ideal, especially for families and groups. And, thanks for the “heads up” on an update for requirement for the bathroom… we’ll check it out today. When you return, please give me a shout so I can personally thank you for taking the time to write a review.

The Bethel Inn has everything ! Every staff member we spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, great customer service. The rooms are beautiful with gas fireplaces and sofas. The restaurant serves great food. Didn't have time to play golf but the course was in great shape. We would without a doubt stay here again.

Room tip: We stayed in the Oaks building right next to the pool.

We were in the Bethel Inn Resort with a large group of people and the staff were wonderful. Our check in was very well organized given the number of people as were dinners and two breakfasts. Our meals were delicious and well presented. The facility was excellent for the group. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The site is exceptional. thank you for looking after us all so well.

We were there "off season", so it was extremely quiet and relaxing. The condo we were in was beautiful. We had a hot water and cable TV problem, but Maintenance was there within minutes. The place was a little "dated" and had a few cosmetic maintenance items that will need attention soon. Overall, we'd return to this resort and village in a flash!

So glad you enjoyed your stay during our quiet season and glad we were able to fix the maintenance problems quickly. We’re also happy that you enjoyed our mountain village… Bethel is a special place, even during our quiet times. We look forward to your return.

It is a modernized old fashioned inn near the New Hampshire border in Western Maine. Breakfast was included and a waiter cooked my egg and served me. Kind of unusual. The only complaint: I paid $200 for one room... other folks in my group paid $150 for a suite.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and so glad you enjoyed our century-old resort. We offer an extensive breakfast buffet but also cook eggs to order for our guests when they so desire. I will be happy to look into the rate situation if you will email me the details (names, date of stay, etc.) at info@bethelinn.com.
