Spent a marvelous weekend at Spruce Point Inn with my wife. This was a destination wedding and what a perfect venue. Booth Bay is a nautical New England paradise. Facilities are very nice and from water activities, to golf accommodations, to just lounging and going into town, what a great location. Front desk staff were so helpful, especially Alexis. Peg had a great experience in the spa: Karen receptionist very welcoming. Stacie, Nail Technician was very professional and made experience relaxing and calm
She had a spa manicure which included a neck massage and hot neck wrap, she said it was awesome and great job on the manicure. We met Chantel bartender she was a gem. Ryan at front desk was very helpful as well. We met Tim Fain, the Executive Chef. So personable and visible. Food was delicious even my favorite, Grilled pork chop which he said I wouldn't forget. He was right. Amazing! Great job by all! A definite destination if you are going to Maine!

I visited the Spruce Point Inn for my close friend's wedding. The accommodations at this resort are top notch. The double bed rooms are VERY spacious, have a small kitchenette, and a spacious bathroom. The activities (kayaks, paddle boards, pools, smores station, hiking trails, boat rides, and yard games) are all included with your room rate! The resort has a van that will transport you from the resort to downtown Boothbay Harbor and pick you up there as well. We did not have to use our car the entire weekend! I cannot say enough positive comments about the cleanliness and the amazing view. The grounds are well kept and beautiful even just to walk from your room to the main building for the restaurant. The food was delicious! FYI: the "free" breakfast refers to coffee and muffins in the lobby, not the buffet in the dining room. We did ask staff before we ate at the buffet and the staff told us it was free of charge with our room rate. At the end of the meal we received a bill and were told it was not included. That situation was the one negative of the experience. I'm not sure where the communication breakdown was but nevertheless the food was delicious.

Room tip: Ocean view OR partial ocean view! However, woodland view is still lovely.

My husband and I were at Spruce Point Inn June 3-5, 2016, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a beautiful ocean view room in Evergreen. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well-appointed and the view from the balcony was wonderful. The staff were friendly and anxious to serve us well. We ate dinner at Bogies on Friday night and were very pleased. Included with your room is use of all of their amenities (except for the spa). We took advantage of the one hour boat ride out on the ocean, where we visited Burnt Island, saw osprey and their young in their nest, and saw bald eagles nesting (the parents were feeding their young when we went by). We used the Inn's bicycles and rode into Boothbay Harbor - a relatively easy ride. We were sad to leave this morning.

Not having ever visited the East Coast, we were long overdue. After reviewing many options and alternative locations, we decided and Maine and Spruce Point. We choose wisely! From the gentleman who greeted us warmly at check in (Howard/Harold?) it was an unforgettable experience all around--he was very familiar with Maine, the Inn and all of the things we could take advantage during our stay--his Maine sense of humor was a treat. I wish all main desk folks at hotels and resorts were like him! Anthony was a great help getting to our room and helping us settle in. Very friendly with a great smile! While we only had the breakfast buffet at the inn, it was above average and satisfying with good service. The staff seemed new and we realized you just opened. The English boat captain was another treat and great ambassador for you and Boothbay Harbor. We loved our room and the view from the balcony. Housekeeping was very efficient and unnoticable We will be making reservations soon for another trip to Maine and will surely be staying at Spruce Point! Thanks to everyone for making our first trip to the East Coast beyond fantastic and one full of many memories and first-time experience.

Room tip: We loved our ocean room views. There were other rooms with on the back of the property that looked nice, but no open views.
