upon arrival to the Inn we were greeted by a gentleman named Thane,he was so very nice and spoke with us as if he knew us for yrs. he couldn't do enough to make sure we had a pleasent stay. the room was very nice and the breakfast that is offered was good.
sitting on the side of the Inn that faces the water gave us the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful harbor site and sunset and also enjoy looking over at the town across the bay.
will be happy to return.

nice place we had rooms where we could park our bikes right outside the sliders(partal view of the harbor down the alley) nice clean rooms seconds to the water an bar area..only down side is they advertise a restaurant but its gone..we would stay here again for sure...the front desk was awesome an very informative..

Room Tip: cheaper rooms were worth it

We stayed at this property on a recent spur of the moment getaway to Boothbay Harbor. The property is conveniently located next to the footbridge leading into town. Overall, this property is a bit tired. Our so-called "balcony" was really a tired looking deck with 2 dirty resin chairs. The carpet was worn through in front of the sliders to the deck. The room was somewhat outdated but clean, which is most important. The outdoor waterfront patio with fire pit makes for a nice view.

We were provided with a complimentary breakfast, and it was awful. Typical buffet breakfast with fake eggs and salty hash out of a can, stiff bacon, and hard pastries.

Probably would not return to this property.

We picked Boothbay Harbor Inn because we wanted a hotel that had a porch with seating overlooking the water during our seaside vacation. That is exactly what we got and we were very happy with our choice. We requested a harbor side corner room on the second floor with a balcony, which does cost extra, but for what we wanted, it was definitely worth it. Our room had a king-sized bed as well as a sliding door that opened onto a balcony with two Adirondack chairs and a small awning. The room does face towards the west, so it can sometimes be hot to sit there in the sun later in the afternoon and the awning is too small to provide much shade, but we did see a nice sunset. The room itself is a decent size and has a coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator. There is also free wi-fit. The air conditioner is built into the wall and is a bit noisy but is efficient. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean, so we were happy with it. There is a complimentary breakfast on the main floor with a decent food selection with a breakfast room that overlooks the harbor. The overall ambience of the common areas was dark and dated, but we didn't spend a lot of time in those rooms, so it was not a big deal. This is not a high-end hotel but it has a great location near the footbridge that crosses over the harbor to the touristy section of town with the shops and restaurants. There is also a nice lawn area on the harbor side with gas fire pits to sit at in the evening and have a drink. We could hear the music from the establishments across the water, at a sound level that was enjoyable, and not annoying. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and would stay here again if we were to visit again.

Just spent 3 nights at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside resort. We were 9 adults traveling on our Harleys..... We were greeted like family and this treatment was respected threw out our stay. Seeing our attire was very limited, the general manager Landon Flynn made sure we had a space reserved for us at the bar. We even got to joke around with the owner.....
John at the bar was just amazing!!!!
Thank you to the staff you were all great!!!!
Ohhhhhh by the way, the rooms are perfect, the food delicious and the view is to die for....
If I Was to give One negative comment, the pillows are just toooooooo fluffy ;)

I'm very happy you liked your stay at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort, but you put your review on the Boothbay Harbor Inn's trip advisor so they are not seeing the nice things you said about them.
