This property used to be called Beloins. New owners are doing a much needed upgrade. Cabins, duplexes and motel rooms are open for business. Some units / motel are completely rebuilt. Others have fresh paint and new furniture. The grounds are cleaned up. Great to see the flowers and new playground.

There is simply nothing like this on the Maine coast. Units are directly on the ocean, about a half mile down from Route 1 and 2 miles north of Camden. It is simply the quietest and most scenic location on the coast. You will feel like you are in another world.

Don't let the lack of signage or no office on Rte 1 fool you. Owner and staff are fantastic. You will regret it if you don't stay here!

Charlie, it was such a pleasure having you, your wife, your brother, and your pup here! We went into this year with the idea that we would try being pet friendly for the year, and see how we feel about it for the future. We will likely continue being pet friendly, but we've all agreed that if we weren't, we'd have to make an exception for you! We all loved that big, sweet pup!
Thank you for the kind review, we look forward to having you back soon!

These cottages are part of what use to be "Beloin's Motel & cottages", (search on-line for "After nearly 80 years Beloin's gets new owners, new name").
The "Motel" and the "Cottages" have been split up. The motel, at the time of this writing, is closed. The cottages now have this new name.
The new owners are in the process up upgrading all of the cottages. Our cottage (#19) was clean with upgraded kitchenette, TV, bathroom, and sitting area with a pullout couch, table and chairs. The view is OUTSTANDING! There is a new kids playground and free parking. Check-in was easy and there were fresh flowers and a handwritten welcome card on the table when we arrived. We are looking forward to returning many times in the future.

Room tip: There are single "cottages" and a couple of duplex/triplex cottages. Check before you book.

Thank you for the kind review! We do still have the shore motel open, but did not purchase the piece up on the road (which is now closed). Glad you were able to enjoy your visit, and we look forward to having you back soon!

This has got to be the very best location of ANY motel in Maine. Cabins and motel on shoreline are amazingly beautiful...right on the water.

It has just sold and I hear the new name will be the Drift Oceanside Inn. My wife and I are anxiously awaiting more news!

Don't miss this place if it does reopen....AND, many thanks to the Beloins family for all the special memories.

Such lovely people. A very warm sincere welcome.
The cabins are slightly dated but clean, warm, comfortable and fully functional.
We had cabin 25 which had a lawn between us and the sea.
It was just the ideal plac3 to relax and unwind in the middle of a big road trip.
Coffee and chocolates lovely touch.
There are barbecues for you to use.
Nothing as to much trouble for this lovely couple.

We confirmed our dates and learned that these are the final 3 weeks for Beloin's. If you have not been there and were considering this as your place to stay there are a few remaining dates but they will no longer be under the family ownership. The word is the new owner wantd to continue to run the business but it is up to Camden to decide. Thanks for the years of memories and for a place that can never be duplicated.
