René and Patrick couldn't be more hospitable and kind. They seem to understand that you're a (sometimes weary) traveler who appreciates creature comforts and hospitality, and you're not just another customer/occupant of a room whom the proprietors don't care if they ever see again, as one might expect in a chain hotel. The guys at Maplewood really want you to stay with them again.

-Reasonable rates, great value
-Fridge and microwave are essential kit.
-Laundry facilities and brochure rack
-Wifi is pretty good, and free.
-Large rooms
-Nice hot water VERY welcome in the winter
-Delicious breakfast in season
-US 302 is really not that noisy. Congestion is rare.
-Cleaning staff make the room spiffy :)
-Central location in Sebago region: 1 hour to North Conway, NH and Portland, Brunswick, Augusta, ME
-Sebago Lake State Park access road is a few hundred yards down US 302. Beach and wonderful swimming are a ten-minute bike ride away.
-Dining options 15-30 minutes away in Naples, Bridgton, and Windham.
-Away from US 302, gorgeous rural Maine is at your doorstep.

Room tip: End rooms in motel are probably quieter.

I have been coming to this motel every year with my boyfriend and dog and it is always a pleasant stay. Rene'e and Patrick the managers are very nice and attentive and make you feel right at home. The motel rooms are very spacious and are always spotless. The mini fridge, microwave and free wifi is definitely a plus. Also this is one of the few motels that has a pool and is privately shielded from the main road with very tall evergreen trees. The water is super clean and just the right temperature. Every morning is a complimentary breakfast buffet which has many delicious choices from many different breads to cereal, yogurt, fresh cold fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bella cheese, jelly and cream cheese, and many different pastries for the morning sweet tooth. Fresh milk, orange juice, coffee and tea is also readily available. The breakfast nook is the most delightful and quaint area with a new antique shiny gold chandelier that Patrick just installed and was very proud to show off :) . I will continue to come back here time and again to receive such lovely hospitality and feel right at home.

Great Place! Nice big rooms, different than other motels. Rene'e and Patrick the managers, were very nice! Very quiet for a place on the main road. Everything you could need is just a short drive away. Nice land in the back with rustic farm house settings where one could throw out a blanket and eat lunch.Pool wasn't in use for the season yet but it's good size and nice trees to keep it in a quaint setting. I'll be back, it's a good take in, compared to other places! BTW on weekends your entitled to a nice breakfast they make for you next door!

Room tip: All the rooms are nice and roomy! Have to see it to believe it!

Thank you, Al D.! You are a very nice person and a wonderful guest. You missed the opening of the pool by one day, and we do have breakfast now every morning through Labor Day weekend for Motel and Inn guests alike. Hope to see you again in September!

We stayed on the ground floor of the Inn for just one night as a bridge between an inn in NH and one mid-coast Maine. It was delightful....very nice surroundings and public spaces. Unfortunately my husband had become ill due to some unadvisable picnic food at a reunion, and was unable to enjoy the Inn or the breakfast the next morning, which was wonderful, a buffet of very tempting food. Breakfast served me well, as dieting on the road is challenging and there was lots of protein and fresh fruit to keep me happy. We hope to stay here again when both are well so we can enjoy the grounds and nice food.

Room tip: All the rooms we saw looked fine, including the motel section.
